Yes, AAT can achieve excellent results in treating chronic sinusitis. Allergies often contribute to persistent inflammation of the sinuses and mucus lining, increasing susceptibility to sinus issues and chronic sinusitis.
Common Triggers Include: Dust, molds, fungus, pets, fragrances, and environmental allergens.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 40 million Americans are affected by sinusitis every year, with 33 million cases of chronic sinusitis reported annually.
Nearly one in three Americans, or 90 million people, is affected when sinusitis is considered together with allergic rhinitis, asthma, and chronic bronchitis.
A clinic could specialize in treating sinusitis alone with great success.
There are over 2.7 million visits to doctor’s offices each year for sinusitis.
28.9% of adults are diagnosed with sinusitis.
Yes, AAT has excellent results in treating IBS. Hidden food allergies and sensitivities often play a significant role in the development and exacerbation of IBS. The primary medical treatment typically involves dietary modification and avoiding offending foods, which can be very challenging, and many people continue to suffer from symptoms. AAT directly addresses these symptoms.
IBS is one of the most seen conditions by medical doctors, and effective treatments are very limited. AAT consistently provides excellent results in resolving IBS.
Common Triggers Include: Dairy, wheat, sugar, yeast, salicylates, corn, soy, and various food components.
IBS affects between 25 and 45 million people in the U.S.
About 2 in 3 IBS sufferers are female.
AAT can effectively treat many irritants contributing to asthmatic symptoms. Allergy-induced asthma symptoms are very common and respond well to AAT treatments.
Common Triggers Include: Molds, dust, dust mites, pet dander, grass, pollens, fragrances, and chemicals.
8% of adults suffer from asthma.
6.5% of children suffer from asthma.
However, exercise-induced asthma is difficult to treat with AAT as it does not stem from an error.
Yes! AAT can be highly effective for many skin conditions and symptoms arising from allergies and sensitivities. If sensitivities are contributing to the condition, AAT can provide significant relief. However, in more severe cases, other factors may be involved, resulting in only partial improvement. Skin conditions that have shown improvement with AAT include urticaria (hives), eczema, contact dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis.
Common Triggers for Skin Symptoms: Foods, nickel, pet dander, fragrances, grass, and chemicals in personal care products.
In the past 12 months, there have been 9.2 million reported cases of skin allergies in children.
Hives affect approximately 20% of the population at some point in their lives.
Yes, AAT can achieve excellent results in alleviating acid reflux symptoms. Acid reflux can occur at any time but is often experienced after a meal. Medications for acid reflux are among the top sellers, alongside allergy medications. With so many cases, AAT can effectively address the underlying triggers.
Common Triggers Include: Spicy foods, onions, citrus, tomatoes, fatty or fried foods, alcohol, and carbonated beverages.
20% of the U.S. population suffers from acid reflux.
Allergies can potentially trigger or exacerbate reflux symptoms.

Absolutely! AAT achieves excellent results in alleviating the various symptoms caused by food sensitivities. These sensitivities are widespread and can contribute to a broad spectrum of issues, including digestive, respiratory, skin, headaches, behavioral problems, and inflammation.
Common Triggers for Food Sensitivities include: Dairy, sugar, wheat, soy, corn, nuts, food components, food additives, alcohol, and coffee.
Approximately 32 million people in the U.S. have food allergies.
This includes 10.8% of adults and 7.6% of children.
AAT treats one allergen family at a time, so the number of treatments depends on the number of allergen families involved in the reaction. However, within each allergen family, the specificity is identified down to the protein molecule, making each treatment extremely comprehensive.
For instance, an allergen family could be something like dust, dairy, or grasses. Within each of these allergen families, we strive to identify all the components within the item that is causing a reaction, resulting in an exceptional and results-driven treatment.
Most of the time, a single allergen family will respond to treatment within a single visit, but it may require multiple visits per family. Conditions such as chronic sinusitis or IBS typically require between 5 and 12 treatments, depending on how many allergen families are contributing to the condition.
Yes, up to four AAT treatments can be administered per day. This provides practitioners with the flexibility of offering more treatment options and allows patients to decide the pace at which they wish to proceed with the AAT treatments. The decision is in their hands, depending on the speed of results they desire and their budget.
Fragrance-Free Policy: Please refrain from smoking or wearing perfume or fragrances before your visit. This consideration is for other patients who may be sensitive to these substances.
Allergy Tests: Bring any allergy test results from your medical doctors to your Initial Session.
Medications: Prescription or over-the-counter medications will not interfere with the treatment.
Scheduling Other Therapies: If you have other therapies (massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc.) scheduled on the same day as your AAT treatment, please arrange them before the AAT session, if possible.
Illness Rescheduling: If you are experiencing an acute illness, including a fever, please contact the clinic to reschedule your appointment.
TRUE HEALTH ACUPUNCTURE - DOES NOT treat anaphylaxis or any life-threatening symptoms. Strict avoidance is always advised.
AAT utilizes a specialized Stress Assessment, a refined form of Muscle Response Testing (MRT), to determine if any system in the body is responding inappropriately to a specific substance. This assessment quickly and easily identifies which items are causing stress on the body, allowing practitioners to determine what needs to be addressed for the patient.
Pathogen-Induced Conditions: AAT can only address symptoms or conditions caused by inappropriate reactions to harmless substances or stimuli. If a symptom or condition is caused by a pathogen (bacteria, viruses, or parasites), AAT treatment will not be effective.
Intolerances: AAT cannot treat intolerances. An intolerance is different from an allergy or sensitivity as it results from a deficiency, not an inappropriate reaction. For example, lactose intolerance is caused by a deficiency of the lactase enzyme needed to break down lactose in dairy. While AAT cannot treat lactose intolerance, it can be very effective for symptoms related to dairy sensitivity. In cases where lactose intolerance and dairy sensitivity coexist, AAT treatment can offer partial benefit.
Anaphylaxis or Life-Threatening Symptoms: AAT does NOT treat anaphylaxis or life-threatening symptoms. In these cases, strict avoidance is always advised.
While AAT can treat many symptoms associated with allergies or sensitivities, some cases may not respond to the treatment.
